UPDATE!

Where to begin, firstly, with an apology for the lack of updates this year - time seems to have rather disappeared, but I am now back in Uganda and promise to be much more diligent!
Ivan's graduation in September
I’ll give you a quick overview of where we’re at with our projects and over the next couple of weeks I will fully update all the pages and the blog with more information.

We currently have 19 students in our sponsorship program, the youngest of whom is in Baby Nursery class and the oldest (Ivan) is doing his Masters. We have students studying midwifery, primary teaching & electrical engineering and a number of our students have been awarded bursaries for outstanding performance.

Aunt Susan’s School
Aunt Susan's Nursery School!
Playing on their new slide!
The most exciting development this year has been the completion of our first major construction project – the building of a nursery school for Aunt Susan’s. The students have been using the school since September and it is a huge improvement, each class now has their own large classroom with big windows, they have the beginning of a playground and a room which will eventually become a library.

It was built using the traditional local method of mud & reeds so our plan for the next couple of months is to plaster the building and concrete the floors which will make it much more resilient as well as allowing teachers to put learning aids on the walls and to store resources safely.

As I said, I will do full updates over the next couple of weeks so keep checking back, but in the meantime if you would like any more information please just drop me an email: ndaliventures@gmail.com

Until next time,
Cordelia x
